STR Reports

Generalities

The STR SHARE Center reports can help you to obtain hotel-related data, such as Performance data, Profit and Loss data, Pipeline and Supply data, Census data, Forecast information, Property and Room counts, Sales transaction data, Hotel company statistics, Industry reference information. The following regions are posted on the Databases page every month:

• America
• Asia
• Europe
• Middle East & Africa

To access the resources, please retrieve the password from the Student portal – Library and Information services page.

Rules

• Data made available through the STR SHARE Center may only be used in the classroom, for a student project, or research, by the faculty, staff, and currently-enrolled students of your school. 
• The data may not be made available to or shown to any person outside, such as any local hotel property, any hotel company, any local convention and visitors bureau (or similar agency), any benchmarking firm (whether or not such firm competes directly or indirectly with STR) or any consulting firm. 
• The data cannot be used for any profit-generating enterprise, either directly or indirectly, such as but not limited to, any benchmarking services (whether or not such services are in direct or indirect competition with STR) or any sort of trade of services.

Ordering STR Reports

In order to ask for an ad-hoc report*, please fill in the form or send us your request and a librarian will contact you very shortly.

*Please be aware that the delivery time of the reports is estimated at 5 working days.

Types of reports available

Four types of customized reports are available on-demand and subject to approval.

Trend Reports: Historical monthly key hotel performance data for a chosen market or selected set.

HOST/Profitability Reports: Detailed Revenue and Expenses in aggregate (annual data).

Pipeline Reports: Overview of historic supply and projected supply growth for markets around the world.

Census Database: Featuring 156,000 hotels and 14.5 million rooms worldwide, the Hotel Census Database includes amenities that each hotel offers and key property information such as mailing address, phone, and fax numbers
